I woke up in the middle of the night finding it somewhat hard to breathe but eventually fell back asleep. We got up and made tofu sandwiches but my breathing was strange again. After taking some medicine and lying down I felt better, but Ashley had to leave for class from 3:00 - 9:00 pm. Yes, 6 hours. I napped hardcore and read the news online.
Ashley actually got out of her 6-hour block early because her teacher was sick. When she got back I complained about my breathing and we went for a walk around Göttingen. There is an old wall surrounding the town which is now a path that people run and walk on.

A Göttingen license plate

The path on the Göttingener Mauer (Wall)

Over the side of the wall, this was being pushed by the current of the river

One part of the main road in the town
Another part of the road, with the tower of a church in the background
A statue with flowers - apparently doctors traditionally walk through the town and put a flower in her hand when they graduate

Göttingen Rathaus (town hall)
KrankenBen (sick ben)

For some reason, some of the pictures do not appear for me. Is that my computer or what? So far, Germany looks beautiful.
I sssoooooo love this! I'm sending the link to Carla so they can travel with you too. The town you're in looks so quaint and beautiful. Take care of yourself and get well soon! Love you!
So glad you made it! Re; your breathing, is it your asthma? Allergies? Or a bit of both? I remember when we were in the Dominican Republic some 25 years ago I couldn't breath. The air was so heavy and "wet". I wasn't wheezing, I just couldn't breath. That is a feeling you never forget. I hope you are dong better. Ashley will take good care of you. Germany looks beautiful! peace...cbs
It's not asthma I don't think but some kind of upper respiratory virus... My larynx and upper chest feel tight often and I feel short of breath; also I get fatigued at odd times.
Hi Benny! & Ashley! Sorry I am late on entering your blog world (summer school is eating me alive). Everything looks so cool, some of the pictures aren't showing up for me either so I don't think it's Dad's computer. Keep the pictures comin! I hope you feel better! XXOO , Tash
